Rules and Regulations

Check-In Policy
Athletes must check in each time that they use The Edge by presenting his/her current membership card at the front desk upon arrival. The Edge usage may be denied if member does not present card. Athletes consistently without their cards may be subject to a “no card charge” payable at check-in time and/or membership privileges may be revoked.

Equipment
All equipment must be used as designed. If member is not familiar with use of equipment, member must be instructed by a staff member. Instruction is available to members as a part of their membership. Members must be familiar with and observe rules and regulations in or around the facility. Members who do not observe rules and regulations or who abuse the equipment in any fashion will be asked to leave. The management reserves the right to terminate membership to anyone who refuses to observe rules or regulations.

Attire
Proper attire is required for participants using The Edge. Shirts, shoes, un-torn clothing is mandatory. No bathing suits or briefs without tights or leg coverings are allowed. Proper footwear must be worn as follows:

Turf – no metal cleat shoes are allowed.
Weight training and general exercise – No open toed shoes, flip-flops, sandals, Heelys or slippery-type shoes allowed.
Court – proper gym shoes, no black soles.

Conduct
The Edge is committed to the health, safety, and welfare of each of its members and staff and will not tolerate unreasonable, threatening, obscene, harassing, indecent, or illegal behavior. For the comfort of all members please refrain from cell phone usage in the fitness/ aerobics area. Please handle all calls in the lobby. Use of camera phones is prohibited in any bathroom/locker room area.

Smoking, Food & Drink
No smoking or consumption of illegal drugs or alcoholic beverages is allowed at The Edge . Utilizing the facilities under the influence of alcohol or drugs will result in cancellation of your membership. No food or drink is allowed beyond the lobby or café area and outside food and drink is not permitted at The Edge. Water is allowed in the workout areas if it is in a non-breakable, enclosed container.

Lockers & Locker Rooms
Lockers and towels, when available, are for day use only. Members must supply his/her own lock. Locks and articles left overnight will be removed. The use of cell phones is not allowed inside the locker room facilities. Towels are provided for your convenience and may not be taken outside the building. Children 11-years of age and older may not use the opposite sex locker rooms.

Children
Children under the age of 16 must be supervised at all times. A parent or guardian must remain at The Edge until completion of the member’s session. Unsupervised and disruptive children will not be tolerated. Failure to comply could result in the suspension or termination of membership. Children 13 and under are NOT ALLOWED in the Fitness Express at any time. All minors, ages 14 to 15, must be supervised by a parent while in the Fitness Express. Minors 16 and 17 who have signed the Membership Agreement may use the Fitness Center without parental supervision.

Guests
Members may bring one guest per month for a free trial. Guests must sign the Guest register/Waiver and show a formal form of identification. Each guest is limited to one free trial per 12 month period.

Hours
The Edge may either close or operate at reduced times on holidays or due to inclement weather or disaster. Hours and times of classes are subject to change without notice.

Lost Articles
The Edge assumes no responsibility for lost or stolen articles. Lost and found articles not claimed will be donated to charity.
